We’re also constantly learning, meeting with industry professionals (including our former students!), and researching and using AI and other tools.
4. Hands-On Experience
Electronic Media students will learn how to be expert storytellers in audio and video, using professional HD cameras and studio production spaces. You’ll work in our new Live Oak Hall studios and at KTSW student radio. You’ll cover PAC-12 athletics from the sidelines, and report, shoot and edit video and audio like a pro. Our students even work on the crew for ESPN+ broadcasts of Bobcat sports and have visited the Round Rock Express and Austin FC. You may get to shoot video underwater or with a drone.
