Hays County held its primary elections on March 5.

The University Star reports the county overseeing around a 19 percent voter turnout. While around the expected turnout, the percentage was still considerably less than the 29 percent in 2020.

Joe Biden won the Democratic primary with 86 percent, while Donald Trump won the Republican primary with 71 percent.
